Grindrod, making a difference

It is heartwarming to see young people working hard and achieving the successes they greatly deserve. It is especially pleasing when support given by Grindrod to communities in some way contributes to this success.

Thanduxolo Vezi, matriculated from Inhlakanipho High School in 2016, a school supported by Grindrod through the Adopt-a-School Foundation. His hard work resulted in excellent results earning him a bursary from the Cyril Ramaphosa Education Trust to further his studies. Grindrod proudly supports the Education Trust by funding bursaries for deserving students.

In 2021 Thanduxolo graduated with a BCom honours degree in economics from the KwaZulu-Natal University. He went on to gain experience in warehouse operations and we are now delighted to welcome Thanduxolo on board as he joins the transport division of Grindrod Logistics Africa.

Thanduxolo comes from a family of six siblings and is the first graduate in the family. A fine young man with big dreams.
