Röhlig-Grindrod supported the Breast Health Foundation on 15 October at Arts on Main, Maboneng Precinct, Johannesburg, through a financial donation and participation in a cancer awareness day hosted by a client, Dale Footwear, importer of Hush Puppy shoes.
Sam Cowen from radio 94.7 and various guest speakers attended the event. Most attendees had been personally impacted by cancer, either directly or through a loved-one.
Various artists displayed their artwork under the theme ‘cancer - pink & hound dog’ (synonymous with the Hush Puppy shoes). These creative art pieces were displayed for public auction and were rated to determine the most popular pieces. The most popular pieces will be displayed in the Hush Puppy 2017 calendar.
