Röhlig-Grindrod (R-G) has announced the Competition Commission’s approval of a formal merger between Kapele Freight and R-G on 1 November.
Kapele Freight will transform into a specialised service provider for the pharmaceutical sector. All customer invoices, excluding pharmaceutical clients, will be issued in the name of R-G. Shipments for pharmaceutical customers will be processed in the name Kapele Freight.

R-G Kapele Freight is a level 2 BBBEE supplier with black ownership of 57.5% for both companies.
