Grindrod Carrier Logistics has launched a new ‘Tracking App’ on all Android and IOS mobile platforms. The application named ‘Grindrod Freight Tracking,’ is currently being used to track motor vehicles transported on behalf of OEMs and other clients in the automotive division.
The application has been designed to be rolled out to other commodities in the division which will include petroleum products as well as containers being transported by GCL’s flatbed fleet.
Functionality includes: secure access, commodity description, multiple access paths, real time GPS location, ETAs, reminder services (on delivery and at specific intervals) and access to PODs in PDF format.
