Cockett successfully completed its contract to supply around 33million litres of diesel to Prelude off the North West Coast of Australia in August. The contract required Cockett to source and supply diesel to Shell specification, charter an LR1 tanker meeting Prelude terminal requirements and provide technical and HSE assurance over the delivery. The contract was led by Australia office but was a joint effort from several departments in the Cockett Group as well as with the strong support of the Shareholders.
