The crew on the Southern Valour was recently praised by Ian Gillone, Chief Engineer Queen Elizabeth, after 1000 tons HFO was delivered to the vessel in the Port of Cape Town on 20 April 2017.
He wrote: “ I would just like to take this opportunity to commend you and your ship’s company on what I consider to be the most professional bunkering operation I have seen in a long time. I was particularly impressed with the standard of communication on board and thorough checks carried out.”
