The visit on Thursday 9 October last week, was enjoyed by all.
Grindrod representatives were taken for a tour of the school and were treated to a special performance by the pupils. Xolani Mbambo, Financial Director Grindrod Limited, delivered an inspiring talk to the learners before they participated in a fun quiz with prizes for the winners.
The Grade 12 pupils attended a Grindrod career station and were invited to apply for Grindrod bursaries.
Over the years Grindrod has invested funds to renovate the library, science laboratory and school hall, as well as provide science equipment, and library books. Skills upliftment has included librarian training, strategic planning, leadership training, matric revision Bootcamp and computer training.
