NovaMarine, a subsidiary of Sturrock Grindrod Maritime (SGM), is excited to announce a significant development in its journey with the acquisition of AllSurvey Industrial (ASI). ASI is a prominent marine and industrial engineering company, and this acquisition represents a major milestone in NovaMarine's growth and service offerings within the marine industry. The move aligns seamlessly with NovaMarine's vision to provide high-quality technical services to both the local and offshore marine sectors.
With over 35 years of experience in the marine industry, ASI brings valuable expertise in supplying Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) equipment, including marine pumps, incinerators, wastewater treatment systems, freshwater makers, and electric motors. This addition will enable NovaMarine to broaden its service offerings and meet a wider range of customer needs.
Susan Meldrum, Divisional Manager of NovaMarine, expressed, "The synergy between ASI's products and our technical services will establish us as the premier technical supplier in the marine industry. We are eager to unite our teams and expertise to provide exceptional service standards for our valued customers."
With operations in Cape Town, Durban, and Walvis Bay, NovaMarine is now poised to expand its customer base in both the East and West African regions. This acquisition will further strengthen its presence and capabilities to meet the increasing demand for qualified technicians offshore.
SGM, a subsidiary of Grindrod Limited, provides ships agency, clearing and forwarding and marine technical services to the maritime, offshore and oil and gas sectors as part of Grindrod Limited’s efficient and cost-effective integrated logistics solutions offerings.
