The container handling business, UCD, owned by Grindrod, has relocated its Durban facility to new premises. The new facilities include a 43 000 m² container yard and a refurbished
1 500 m² customs warehouse, equipped to manage all border authority inspections and overstays. Our specialised equipment comprises a 45-tonne reach stacker for full containers and two empty container handlers. Additionally, there are 240 plug points available for reefers. We provide reefer repairs, gassing, CA preps, cold treatments, and callouts. Furthermore, we are a certified warranty repair center for Carrier, Starcool, Daikin, and Thermoking.
