I am pleased to welcome Guy Sampson as the Divisional Executive for Sturrock Grindrod Marine Tech (SGMT); he started with us on 8 January 2018 and is based in Cape Town. With more than 20 years’ experience on the technical, strategic and commercial side of the business, Guy comes from an environment that compliments the technical environment of SGMT. He has a proven success record, is people-centric but results driven, and has vast knowledge of the requirements of this industry.
Guy has a big role to play in ensuring a turnaround strategy for SGMT is realised, and his role will require some changes and streamlining of processes. He will need the full team behind him to ensure this happens and the ultimate result will secure our future and expansion plans.
