The 5-year Vivo contract was signed at the end of September and involves supplying fuel from various terminals and refineries in South Africa to Botswana. The contract will be run from the Tlokweng facility in Gaborone.
47 new vehicles and 62-drivers are required to deliver on this new contract. It is estimated that 192-million litres will be transported annually. This contract brings in significant revenue for Grindrod.
The contract commenced on 1 August 2019.
