New contracts for Grindrod Integrated Logistics

Grindrod Integrated Logistics has recently concluded new contracts with various blue-chip customers.
A new three-year agreement effective 1 September 2017 was signed with Volkswagen South Africa.  The scope of the agreement includes all deliveries to KwaZulu-Natal, the Southern Cape and parts of the Free State.  This business is strategically important to the Automotive division as it complements the Toyota volumes going to the Eastern and Western Cape. 
Grindrod’s B-BBEE credentials, an on-time delivery performance of >99%, and Automotive’s ability to adapt to market conditions, were contributory factors to winning this award. 
Grindrod Integrated Logistics – Fuelogic was successful in tendering for transportation services to Puma Energy in Namibia. Further to this, SASOL has extended all its contracts with Grindrod Integrated Logistics (Fuelogic) for a further two-year period on the back of excellent performance and on-time deliveries. These contracts include Mossel Bay, Port Elizabeth, Witbank and Sasolburg.
