Welcome Beverley-Ann Stephens

Welcome Beverley-Ann Stephens

Many markets around the world have not recovered entirely from the 2008 global financial crisis. South Africa is no different and with its own domestic challenges, politically and socially, many importers and exporters are scrutinising their businesses and vendor selection. Like many of our competitors, Röhlig-Grindrod has faced challenges in respect of pricing, BBBEE, value-added services and technology, amongst other imperatives. We have chosen to focus on the retention sector of our business which requires focus, structure, co-ordination and drive.
In order to give client centricity its proper place in our strategy, Röhlig-Grindrod has decided to appoint a National Customer Relationship Manager. We are proud to announce that Beverley-Ann Stephens has been appointed to the role; and she will report to Juan Enslin.
Beverley has spent the last three decades of her career in the freight and logistics industry, working on both sides of the fence, firstly as a customer to the freight industry and thereafter 15 years working for two international freight companies in which she held various management positions including National Key Account Manager, Branch Manager, Sales Manager, and Commercial Director at Ceva Logistics. The varied roles afforded her the opportunity to gain an in-depth knowledge of, and vast experience in, the Clearing and Forwarding industry.
She is passionate about the movement of cargo and customer centricity, and enjoys the excitement, vibrancy and challenges that the logistics industry has to offer.
